Christian Nyampeta works at the intersection of art, design and theory, in search of new ways of living together. His ongoing projects centre around migratory and performative practices, including writing and public lectures, convened under his research provisionally titled of “How To Live Together(?)”. Nyampeta graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009 and is completing a PhD in Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths. He is this year’s laureate of The Art Prize Future of Europe at GfZK, Leipzig. His recent exhibitions were: Words after the World, Camden Arts Centre, London (2017); Penser l’Afrique, Slought Gallery, Philadelphia (2018). He lives and works in London.
