CHRISTINE SUN KIM
Christine Sun Kim uses the medium of sound in performance and drawing to investigate her relationship with spoken languages and her aural environment. Projects include using the audience’s voice as her own, conducting a group of people to "sing" with facial movements, and composing visual scores with sign language and musical symbols. Through her practice, she challenges and deconstructs the politics of sound, and explores oral languages as social currency. She lives and works in Berlin and New York.
